(Under 100Wh) This instructor led webinar will cover the exceptions for small lithium ion/lithium metal batteries prepared according to Section II of Packing Instructions 965-970 of 61st edition of the IATA DGR. A small lithium ion/lithium metal battery falls under the below categories: For lithium ion cells and batteries, small battery exceptions are provided for: Lithium ion cells having a Wh rating not exceeding 20 Wh; Lithium ion batteries having a Wh rating not exceeding 100 Wh. For lithium metal cells and batteries, small battery exceptions are provided for: Lithium metal cells having a lithium metal content not exceeding 1 g; Lithium metal batteries having a lithium metal content not exceeding 2 g.
