Message from the President | September 2020 Newsletter

Although Miami has seen a downward trend in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations over the past few weeks, the pandemic has taken a significant toll on the local economy. Now more than ever, it is critical that we work together to increase opportunities for Miami’s business community and stay safe.
Since 1987, the World Trade Center Miami (WTCM) has been helping Miami companies find new business partners across the globe and promote Miami as the “Trade and Logistics Hub of the Americas” through our trade shows The Americas Food & Beverage Show and the Air Cargo Americas Show and other popular events.
The WTCM has many exciting initiatives taking place these next few months that you are not going to want to miss. We are developing a new video series featuring business leaders discussing a variety of international business topics. We are enhancing our database of companies so that we may refer business to you. The Americas Food & Beverage Show & Conference will be held virtually. We have revamped our newsletters with more up-to-date articles and information and increased our social media efforts to promote companies that are participating in our shows and events.
I encourage you to visit www.wtcmiami.org to register for events, read our news posts, to find COVID-19 business resources, learn how you can participate in our Americas Food & Beverage Virtual Show and the Air Cargo Americas Show. Please join our social media channels to stay updated on recent developments and invite others to sign-up.
Together we can increase opportunities for our business community. And please help stop the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a mask and maintaining social distance.
I look forward to connecting with you soon. Stay safe and take care.
