State of the Ports

A World Trade Center Miami Signature Event, the annual State of the Ports Luncheon Presentation has been a staple of the WTCM’s programming for over three decades. In the presence of multiple hundreds of community leaders and business executives, the CEO’s of Miami International Airport (MIA) and PortMiami present the respective performances of their ports in terms of travel and trade statistics, as well as provide news on the capital improvement programs and infrastructure investments at Miami Dade County’s leading economic generators. MIA is the nation’s second-leading international passenger gateway and the leading international cargo airport. PortMiami is the leading cruise port in the world and a global cargo gateway. Combined, the two ports generate an economic impact in excess of $75 billion and sustain over 610,000 jobs.
